Ezra Levant is a human rights activist, author, TV host and dad. He is not to everyone's taste.
In 2014, Ezra was chosen as the “most irritating Canadian” by the Globe and Mail’s TV critic. The Globe’s readers were less discriminating, voting Ezra “the biggest name in Canadian broadcasting”. In the 2014 Hill Times survey of Parliament Hill staff he was voted "talking head you'd most like to silence" by an overwhelming margin.
It's not all bad news, though. In 2009, Ezra wrote a best-selling book called Shakedown: How Our Government is Undermining Democracy in the Name of Human Rights. That book was selected by the Writer’s Trust as the best Canadian political book in 25 years, though that sounds like a clerical error. Ezra went on to write other books, including Ethical Oil: The Case for Canada’s Oilsands, which won the 2011 National Business Book Award, and The Enemy Within: Terror, Lies and the Whitewashing of Omar Khadr. His latest book is Groundswell: The Case for Fracking, was nominated for the 2015 National Business Book Award.
Against his will, Ezra has learned all the songs to the movie, Frozen.

The Ezra Levant Show (July 1, 2019) — Happy Canada Day! Or Dominion Day, as it's properly called. Look, we like to complain, but that's part of politics. But really, this is the best country in the world. Friendly, peaceful, safe, beautiful, large and it's our home. For a media company that criticizes, it's worth taking time to praise. But the reason we criticize is because many of the things which we love about Canada are in jeopardy. GUEST Barbara Kay

The Ezra Levant Show (June 28, 2019) — There are a lot of important things going on in the world right now, from the G-20 meetings in Japan to the Democratic Party's 2020 nomination race. The world is full of news, but I truly believe the most pressing topic is the stampede towards censorship in Canada and in other parts of the world. GUEST Allum Bokhari

The Ezra Levant Show (June 24, 2019) — Almost one year after the grotesque act of carnage that would be known as the Danforth Shooting, the Toronto Police investigation into the crimes of Faisal Hussain have been released to the public. Last July, Hussain walked along Toronto's Danforth Avenue on a Sunday evening. He opened fire selectively, killing two people and injuring 13 more before turning the gun on himself. Not everyone encountered by Hussain that evening was shot, which is why his motivation is a crucial piece of the puzzle. GUEST Dorre Love

The Ezra Levant Show (June 19, 2019) — I had an enlightening run-in on the weekend with local Richmond Hill Liberal Party MP Majid Jowhari.
